Fredrik Prinz-Norløff becomes head of the accounting agency

We are proud to announce that Fredrik Prinz-Norløff has joined Holio as head of our accounting agency, the company that handles bookkeeping, payroll, VAT and year-end close for Norwegian businesses, with a particular focus on e-commerce.

Fredrik joins us from Steen & Strøm, one of Scandinavia’s leading shopping-centre companies, where he was acting CFO, brought in to help reorganise the group’s finance function. Few finance leaders know the retail world, the industry every Holio customer operates in, from a vantage point like that.

Finance leadership at scale

Before Steen & Strøm, Fredrik was Group Finance Director at Zolva, where he led five heads of accounting and a 45-person finance organisation responsible for all accounting, financial reporting and budgeting across Norway, Spain, Italy and several other countries. Before that he was Head of Accounting at Clarksons, the world’s largest shipbroking group, in charge of the day-to-day finance operation: payables, receivables, payroll, invoicing and liquidity management.

That combination of retail at group level, international finance organisations and shipping is no coincidence. It mirrors what Holio does every day: we build and run the operational backbone for companies that sell online and move goods.

What this means for our customers

Holio’s accounting agency was built on a simple idea: online stores deserve accountants who understand payment-provider payouts, marketplace fees, VOEC and cross-border VAT, not generalists who treat a webshop like a corner shop. With Fredrik at the helm, the team now has a leader who has run finance functions far larger and more complex than the ones our customers are building towards, and who knows what a well-run finance function looks like at every stage of that journey.

Holio Accounting works closely with the rest of the house, the Visma Business NXT team, the Holio platform and the Shopify team, so the numbers, the systems and the operation are finally handled under one roof.
